Four sided elastic tape
Four sided elastic tape is also called Nylon kinesiology tape, or elastic muscle tape. Four sided elastic tape is made of nylon fabric with medical grade acrylic adhesive and applied in a wave pattern. Nylon material makes it last up to 5-7 days during daily workouts and sports competitions.
Nylon kinesiology tape is different from ordinary kinesiology tape in that it has transverse and longitudinal stretching force, and the longitudinal and transverse flexibility is set at about 80%. The ordinary kinesiology tape only has longitudinal stretching force.
Nylon kinesiology tape is softer, smoother and better in body. But this is also its disadvantage, because it is too soft, so the support is slightly worse than cotton kinesiology tape and synthetic kinesiology tape.
Four sided elastic tape is more breathable and liquid permeable, but is waterproof and dries very quickly, for example after a shower.
